"My husband and I love to see new movies and try new restaurants. As native Kansas-citians, we both LOVE exploring our city and taking our kids with us on our adventures! I enjoy First Fridays in the West Bottoms, thrift store shopping, and tapas. I love buying new houseplants and reviving other people's sickly plants. Reviving a plant from the clearance section of any home and garden store gives me an indescribable joy! Being around animals feeds my soul, which is why I visit and volunteer at local animals shelters. I am also an active member with the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri and love giving back to my community. Being goofy has always been my jam and making people laugh is one of my greatest accomplishments. Laughing through tough labor contractions or a painful breastfeeding experience can be the key to take you to the next level of accomplishment, where you encounter a version of yourself you didn't know existed. Laughter releases endorphins and endorphins make people happy. Happy people make a happier universe. It's a win-win for everyone!"
